At the XXVII Meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of Iberarchivos, held virtually on 8 May 2023, the Programme’s Strategic Plan 2023-2026 was approved. Among the strategic objectives of this Plan, Strategic Objective 1 seeks to contribute to the development of archival public policies from the documentary genesis to guarantee the exercise of rights and sustainable development.
In order to carry out the activities defined in Result number 1 of the aforementioned objective: Ibero-American archival institutions and governing bodies benefit from greater knowledge of the archival panorama in Ibero-America, and specifically, within its Line of Action number 1: Analysis of the state of archival public policies in Ibero-America and proposal of recommendations to guarantee the exercise of rights, Iberarchivos announces a call for proposals for a diagnosis and report on public policies in Ibero-America with a gender analysis.
The call is now open for proposals, with a view to subsequently contracting the services of a natural or legal person, legally established in any of the countries that make up the programme https://www.iberarchivos.org/paises-miembros/, with proven expertise in carrying out diagnoses on public cultural policies in Ibero-America and gender analysis in the archives sector.
The contracting of the service will be financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The service contract will be divided into two distinct lots for which consultants or companies may apply either as a whole or specifically for the lot in which they are interested.
- LOT 1: Diagnosis of archival public policies in Latin America.
- LOT 2: Diagnosis of gender in the Ibero-American archives sector.
