The Iberarchivos Programme, represented by the technical secretary Cristina Díaz and the consultant Guadalupe Basualdo, participated on 24 October in the 1st National Archives Congress, organised by the Spanish State Archives, which took place in Pamplona on 23, 24 and 25 October.

Cristina Díaz took part in the round table on “International networks and programmes: cooperation, integration and training” moderated by Diego Mayoral Gil-Casares of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation – AECID. Ana Mª Sánchez Salcedo from AECID and Juan Carlos de Miguel as representative of the Network of Ibero-American Diplomatic Archives – RADI participated in the round table.

In addition to presenting their own programmes and projects to the general public, the challenges posed by this tangible archival cooperation were jointly reflected upon. Cristina Díaz in her conclusions on the Cooperation axis of the council stressed the importance of “an active and multidisciplinary collaboration in archival cooperation on a national and international level”.

For her part, the consultant Guadalupe Basualdo had the opportunity to present the results obtained in the Gender and Public Policy Diagnoses to an audience of more than 400 people.
