  Winter School Archives and Education 2018

  Since 2014 FARO and The National Archives (UK) have organized Summer and Winter Schools to assist archivists, education officers and keepers of special collections in their professional development. These training events have been a success and the participants have found it a unique experience.

  The focus during the first couple of days of this five day Winter School  is an investigation into Open Education Resources (OER) and technologies, during which participants will begin to build digital elements for use in the development of their main resources at the end of the winter school.

  During the 2018 Winter School we’ll work around the central theme of migration from the Low Countries to North America in the 17th Century.
