In recent weeks, the former president of the Iberarchivos Programme, Carmen Campos, has been appointed Vice-Minister of Culture of Costa Rica. This important recognition reflects her commitment to cultural management and her outstanding career in the archival field.
In her place, Mr. José Vílchez, current Deputy Director of the General Archive of the Nation of the Dominican Republic, will assume the presidency of the Programme and will bring his experience and leadership to Iberarchivos.
From the Programme, we would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Carmen Campos for her valuable work during her presidency and we would like to extend a warm welcome to Mr. José Vílchez.
