Last February, at the XXII Meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Iberarchives Programme in Seville, the evaluation period for the 2019 call for projects was concluded. A total of 37 archival projects from all over Ibero-America were selected to receive funding with the aim of continuing to preserve the memory of the Ibero-American peoples.

In each Iberarchivos member country, a National Evaluation Commission is set up every year, chaired by the National Archival Authority. This Commission, together with the Programme’s Technical Unit, carries out a prior assessment of the project applications that meet the requirements of the Call for Proposals.

On this occasion, the following projects were selected by country: Argentina 5 projects, Brazil 3 projects, Chile 2 projects, Colombia 4 projects, Costa Rica 3 projects, Cuba 4 projects, Spain 2 projects, Mexico 3 projects, Peru 3 projects, Puerto Rico 3 projects, Dominican Republic 2 projects, Uruguay 3 projects.

The resolution of the grants and the minutes of the national evaluation commissions are published on the Iberarchivos website.

It is important to mention that the results are final. On the other hand, if you have any questions about the resolution of the call for proposals, please contact the project leaders in the participating countries.

The deadline for the submission of applications for the new call will be opened soon. All organisations and institutions wishing to apply are invited to keep an eye on the Iberarchivos website and social networks where the call will be disseminated.
