The seventh call for nominations is now open. Nominations must be submitted no later than 30 March 2018, in English or French.
The Prize, which is awarded every two years, consists of USD 30,000 to be presented to individuals or institutions that have made significant contributions to the preservation and facilitation of access to documentary heritage.
The objective of the Prize is in conformity with UNESCO’s policies and is related to the Organization’s programme to promote universal access to information and knowledge.
The Iberarchivos Programme was awarded the prize in 2016, UNESCO valued the contribution to the preservation of documentary heritage that Iberarchivos represents.
