From Wednesday 14 December, a documentary exhibition will be open to the public at the National Archive of Peru: ‘Sea: Source of life and fears in colonial times’. This exhibition brings together documentation on trade and navigation, fishing and marine resources, war and defence of the sea, shipwrecks and disasters on the high seas.
The inauguration will be held from 6pm, presented by Dr. Jorge Ortiz Sotelo, and will take place in Jr. Camaná N° 125 with Pasaje Piura s/n – Cercado de Lima (Local Ex Correo Central).
The exhibition is organised by the Historical and Colonial Archives of Peru, as well as by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture. It will be open to the public from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday until 30 April 2017.
