Celebrate International Archives Day!
All over the world, professionals join their voices on 9 June to raise awareness of why it is important to support archives and the profession – an excellent opportunity to discover or learn more about our profession.
This year’s celebration is under the theme “Archives, Harmony and Friendship”, which will also be the theme of this year’s International Congress of Archives (ICA) in Seoul.
From Iberarchivos – ADAI we wish you a Happy Archives Day and we take this opportunity to invite you to help us, together with the rest of the Ibero-American and world archival community, to spread the word about this day and the events linked to this celebration. In order to promote the importance of archives and their profession, today we will include the hashtags #IAD16 (defined by the ICA) and #UnArchivoEs (defined by the ALA) in all our publications on social networks.
