With the aim of valuing the work carried out by archives and their professionals, the Association of Archivists of Castilla y León announces the 1st Edition of the “ACAL Awards”.

Award for the best archival project – distinguishes the project linked to the field of Archival and Documentary Management that has been outstanding between 2012 and 2015.
Award for the best innovative activity – values any action carried out between 2012 and 2015 that has been a novelty or innovation in the field of Archives and Records Management.
Award for the best dissemination event – for any specific archival dissemination initiative carried out between 2012 and 2015 (practical cases of dissemination in archives, physical or virtual exhibitions, other dissemination projects, etc.).
Award for the best professional work in Castilla y León – rewards the professional work of any person who has carried out outstanding work related to archives and records management in Castilla y León in the last four years.
Award for the best professional work – values the person who has developed an important professional work, outside Castilla y León, linked to Archival and Records Management and who has contributed to improve the profession and the situation of archives in the last four years.
