For more than 400 years, 15 million men, women and children fell victim to the abominable transatlantic slave trade, writing one of the darkest chapters in human history. Every year, on 25 March, all those who suffered and died at the hands of slavery are remembered.
As part of this international day to raise awareness of one of the darkest chapters in the history of mankind, we remember an ADAI project on slavery and the slave trade.
